Cold Steel Outdoorsman Lite Knife (20PH) |
|
As a nod to the great success of our Pendleton Lite Hunter, we have decided to make more economical version of our popular Outdoorsman knife. They resemble their more expensive versions in that they feature similar blades, guards, handles, and pommels. The only significant change was the use of slightly thinner 4116 Krupp Stainless Steel blades, and the implementation of less costly materials in the handles.

Knife Cold Steel Mini Tuff Lite |
Points: 3
|
Tough enough to do the job and light enough to be handy, Cold Steel's Mini Tuff-Lite folder is there when you need it. It's perfectly sized to slip into a pocket, clip to your waistband, or wear around your neck on a lanyard.
It offers a 2" long, wide, hollow ground blade that's mercilessly sharp and can shear through the toughest materials with unexpected ease. It's highly useful for precision work and delivers deep penetration, yet its un-aggressive looking slant point tip, isn't likely to draw unwelcome attention.
The Mini Tuff-Lite is bred for work and offers a surprisingly good grip due to its superbly engineered handle. Made of Grivory, it offers an enormous strength to weight ratio and features our state of the art Tri-Ad® lock, which gives it astonishing muscle for its size.
It's inconspicuous and small, yet strong and tough. And it's light enough to carry with ease. Surely, it’s the best accessory you’ll ever carry.

Knife Cold Steel Hold Out I XHP |
Points: 6
|
For many years now Cold Steel has been fascinated with the Black Knife or Skean Dhu (Gaelic) of the ancient Scottish warriors. Used as a utility or back-up knife and worn under the sleeve, tucked inside a jacket or slipped into the top of a stocking it was thin, flat "pointy" and light as a feather.
Now Cold Steel is proud to offer you our latest interpretation of this timeless knife in the form of an updated Tactical folder we call the Hold Out.
Available in several sizes to meet just about anyone's needs, they offer a number of contemporary variations and refinements at a very affordable price. Each blade is made of Carpenter CTS XHP steel, and like its ancient predecessor's, features a thin, acutely pointed tip that's sharp as the proverbial needle. And it glides effortlessly through even the most puncture resistant materials while remaining remarkably resistant to breakage. Adding to their value and wicked effectiveness, each knife has been precisely and beautifully hollow ground before being honed by hand to a razor edge that will fling hairs from your arm like magic. Cold Steel Knife Safe Keeper II |
Points: 5
|
Here are perhaps the finest production push knives in almost 150 years. They have the cutting and piercing potential of a larger knife, but are small enough so that they can be easily attached to tactical web gear, tucked in a waistband or boot top, or even strapped to a wrist or ankle.
Designed for the twenty first century, the Safe Keeper II is the ultimate push knife. Just the look of this knife with its wicked blade jutting out from the fist is enough to deter almost all aggressors. And, if action is necessary, the Safe Keeper's shock absorbing Kraton handle imparts devastating punching blows, yet is so secure in one's hand that it's practically impossible for even a novice to be disarmed. Here are perhaps the finest production push knives in almost 150 years. They have the cutting and piercing potential of a larger knife, but are small enough so that they can be easily attached to tactical web gear, tucked in a waistband or boot top, or even strapped to a wrist or ankle.
The Safe Keeper III offers outstanding versatility, especially as a boot knife. Its light weight and overall length of five inches make it the perfect combination of small size and big performance. The single edged design of the Safe Keeper III means you can safely "choke up" on the blade for extra fine work, while the false edge provides superior point strength. With only one sharp edge, the Safe Keeper III can double as a rescue knife. Sold Out

All of the knives featured in our Battle Ready Classics Series have been made by Cold Steel for many years and are well proven in the field as well as in hand to hand combat. The answer was to offer them in our famous San Mai III steel. Made in Japan according to our strict standards since the mid 1980's, San Mai III has proven unsurpassed in strength, toughness, sharpness and ease of re-sharpening. Over the years, other "super steels" have come and gone but San Mai III remains as the most proven high performance stainless steel in the world. If you want a combat knife you can bet your life on, and reasonably priced, check out our Battle Ready.
